Position Details

Our therapists assess, develop treatment plans, and offer individual and family therapy for adults with chronic mental health needs in the extended acute care (EAC) setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with residents.
• Assist with deescalating residents in crisis.
• Partner with the program director to provide clinical direction and advice for staff to promote positive interventions with residents.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Masters degree in related field is required (i.e., psychology, sociology, human services, social work, etc.)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to complete work independently are required
• Experiencing working with individuals with chronic mental health needs is preferred
• Prior experience facilitating therapy groups and conducting individual therapy sessions is preferred
