Requirements / Qualifications
Candidate will be working in an indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and diesel fumes, as well as driving in adverse weather conditions. Physical abilities must consist of climbing in/out of buses, sitting for extended periods of time, lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 75 pounds, and dexterity of hands/fingers to operate a school bus.
Qualifications: Successful completion of a school bus driver training program recognized by the California Highway Patrol, possession of a valid California Class B driver’s license, current School Bus Driver’s Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol, and valid First Aid Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Candidate is required to pass a medical examination and is subject to random drug testing.
