Bloomberg ranked The Boler College number 1 in preparing students for the workplace. The Kramer School of Accountancy includes 5 full-time tenure-track faculty, in addition to several lecturers.

This is accomplished through a relevant, rigorous, and thorough curriculum coupled with a teaching approach that encourages personal interaction between instructors and students. Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare course materials and pedagogy in order to achieve course learning goals and objectives; • Employ appropriate pedagogy for the nature of assigned courses; • Conduct classes and deliver course material on assigned days and times; • Utilize the University Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver course information to students. Currently this is Canvas. Training on the system is available. • Evaluate and grade student work in a timely manner; • Maintain availability to students during posted hours to assist students; • Respond promptly to departmental and student communications; • Meet periodically with supervisors and colleagues for collaboration, training, and development; • Participate in departmental efforts to assess student learning; and • Respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population.
Required Qualifications
• A graduate degree in accounting (MSA, MAC, etc.) or business (MBA) from an accredited university; or • An undergraduate degree with licensure appropriate to teaching responsibilities (Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), etc.). • A commitment to outstanding teaching and delivering an excellent student experience. • Candidates should possess a strong record of professional experience relevant to teaching responsibilities.

Normal Work Location, Hours and Conditions
During the academic year, courses are generally taught on-campus during the day, though there may be options for evening and/or online classes. Class times vary and instructors are expected to post available time for student questions outside of regular class hours. Student conferences may be conducted by Zoom or telephone as necessary.
