Job Abstract

YMCA Camp Thunderbird is looking for a part-time enthusiastic, positive role model to help plan programming, assistant with camp operations, and supervise children in our Adventure Guides program activities this fall.

DUTIES

Responsibilities include sight and sound supervision of a group of school age children, along with day to day operations of a school age child care center.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have a minimum of three years child care experience with some supervisory responsibility and a degree in a related field or CDA. In addition candidates must have a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license in good standing and be at least 21 years. We are seeking responsible and energetic individuals with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. General experience with budgeting and program administration is desired.

The following are required within 90 days of employment:
CPR/AED Certification
First Aid Certification
Medication Administration Training (MAT)
