St. Paul High School is a co-educational Catholic college preparatory high school in Santa Fe Springs. We are accepting resumes for a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Principal/Dean of Curriculum and Instruction. The Assistant Principal/Dean of Curriculum and Instruction will play a critical role in shaping and implementing the academic vision of St. Paul High School. This leadership position involves overseeing the development, evaluation, and enhancement of the school’s curriculum and instructional practices to ensure the highest standards of educational excellence. Applicants should be familiar with and supportive of a Catholic high school’s educational and spiritual philosophy and mission.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Valid California Administrative Services Credential.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with demonstrated instructional leadership.
Prior experience in a school administrative role is preferred.
Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive school environment.
Ability to analyze data and use it to inform instructional decisions.
Passion for education and a commitment to the mission of St. Paul High School.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Develop, implement, and evaluate the school’s curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and the needs of all students.
Provide leadership and support to faculty in instructional strategies, classroom management, and professional development.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and assessment.
Collaborate with teachers to design and implement innovative teaching methods and technology integration.
Coordinate and oversee standardized testing and other assessments.
Ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations and standards.
Support the Principal in day-to-day school operations and serve as acting Principal when needed.
Engage with parents, community members, and other stakeholders to support student achievement and school initiatives.
Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of instructional staff.
Promote a positive school culture that reflects the values and mission of St. Paul High School.

New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
