The ideal candidate has strong public accounting and audit experience with CPA, GAAP knowledge, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Commercial Real Estate industry experience a plus.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Manage month-end close and preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting for multiple entities.
Maintain accurate accounting records to manage a successful and timely year-end close and GAAP financial statements.
Oversee assigned company entities; monitoring activity, business purposes and mechanics, transactions, and communicate with partners, stakeholders and vendors as needed.
Effectively communicate with senior finance members on a variety of issues.
Perform a variety of accounting and finance duties including reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, and budgeting.
Assist with annual budget preparation and forecasting.
Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and procedures.
Train, mentor and develop finance and accounting team members.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years’ experience in leading finance and accounting for multiple-entity company.
Commercial Real Estate industry experience preferred.
CPA with Public Acounting experience.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of GAAP standards.
Advance MS Excel, PowerBi and Sage 300 (Timberline) experience preferred.
Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Effective interpersonal communications and ability to maintain professional working relationships with staff and leadership.
