The Administrative Support position will provide broad support to the Administrative Operations Manager and other SSRC research staff as needed. The Administrative Support must demonstrate detail-oriented work ethic, reliable communication and organization skills. This position: assists with preparing and maintaining center records, supports personnel transactions, and is required to perform other tasks associated with the production of contract deliverables. The Administrative Support must ensure that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Essential Duties
Assists with maintaining project records
Assist with correspondence and reports, and creating forms and databases as needed
Assist with the preparation of purchase orders, check requests, travel authorizations, directive 11 forms, reimbursement forms and personnel transaction reports (PTRs).
Assists with new-hire processing of CATI-Lab
Schedules meetings and conferences and assists with project workflow
Maintains sponsored project filing system, along with various other departmental files
Assists with updating databases such as employee rosters, contact lists, and client information.
Assist with event planning and implementation
Keep office area presentable
Maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies
Perform work related errands as requested
Other tasks and project as assigned
Qualifications
Accurate typing
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
Excellent attendance and reliability
Ability to function well in a stressful, deadline-driven environment.
The ability to work effectively in a racially and ethnically diverse professional community.
EDUCATION:
Minimum some college.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred.
