Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education Required: -Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy or; PharmD -Current Licensure in State of Ohio
Experience & Training Required: -Manual dexterity to operate of computer terminal, calculator, and other office equipment; to manipulate fine instruments; and prepare pharmaceutical entities in minute proportions -Working knowledge of pharmacy law -Ability to acquire skills necessary to operate department computer
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: -Ability to meet departmental standards of practice -Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with pharmacists, nurses, technical physicians, and other healthcare personnel -Ability to acquire skills necessary to operate department computer application packages. -Must maintain confidentiality of patient and department records -Ability to self-directed to execute responsibilities within a team structure. -Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
