The Learning and Development Manager leads a team of Talent Development colleagues. This position may also manage learning and development production managers, instructional designers, facilitators, and developers.
Summary:
Leads enterprise leader and colleague development. This includes:
· Team management including coaching, facilitation scheduling, capacity planning, resourcing planning, and project management.
· Leadership and oversight of learning and development design best practices including content design, delivery, and communications.
· Consulting and key contributor with other Talent leaders on development related to enterprise Talent programs, Talent Management, Top Talent programs, executive development, and segment leader development programs.
· Consulting and collaboration with other Talent leaders to support enterprise Talent initiatives.
· Management of enterprise leader and colleague content catalog which includes vendor strategy and oversight (budgeting, contract renewals, content strategy, and expansion based on identified needs).
· Relationship management for segment development partners which includes consulting and enterprise support of segment programs.
· Collaborates closely with Talent Development consultants on requests, programming, and prioritization.
· Drives strategy through industry knowledge, best practices, and internal data.
· Ensures there is a data and measurement strategy in place for enterprise solutions and does regular business reviews on Talent Development programs/practices to identify trends, gaps, and needs.
· Understands Workday to administer learning and career development.
· Ability to facilitate effective meetings
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develops processes and procedures to implement functional strategies.
· Has in-depth expertise in learning needs analysis, ADDIE, learning and development, and leadership development.
· Leverages expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to colleagues in own area and support other areas of learning and development.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· 7+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Leadership development facilitation
· Has in-depth expertise in banking lines of business and functional areas.
· Data and analytics experience
· Change management experience.
· Experience in telling a story with data
· Ability to use PowerPoint effectively to share information
· Ability to influence others
