Summary:
Contributes to the success of Summa Health System provider alignment goals through the oversight of Summa Health Network (SHN) and NewHealth Collaborative (NHC) provider operations. Effectively engages providers in SHN with Summa Health System while preparing, advancing, and implementing NHC providers with payer partner value-based agreements and NHC resources.
A highly visible market-facing role, building meaningful relationships with both community independent providers, employed providers and other relevant stakeholders throughout Summa Health (e.g., information technology, health plan, ambulatory services etc.) Leading the development and maintenance of high functioning, aligned provider networks that work collaboratively with Summa Health’s population health vision and strategy.
Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor’s degree required.
b. Advanced degree (MBA or HealthCare Administration) in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience and Training Required:
a. Six (6) years of experience in healthcare environment that has provided knowledge of healthcare/managed care delivery system, physician hospital organizations and physician relations. Minimum five (5) years direct supervisory experience in a healthcare/managed care environment.
b. Experience in performance improvement or process improvement, and/ or training including project management.

m. Ability to easily adapt to changes in both individual project(s) and the health care environment.
n. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to anticipate and identify ever changing needs for the practices as they arise.
o. Ability to work with little or no direct supervision & manage a large volume of work.
p. Must demonstrate confidentiality with clinical, management, and other organizational data/information.
q. Demonstrates knowledge of care management strategies and the management of chronic conditions
r. Possesses knowledge in quality / performance improvement, information systems and their applicability to clinical effectiveness/ outcomes.

$54.22/hr - $81.33/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
