Role Description: We’re looking for a passionate marketing manager to lead our creative team—someone who can balance strategy and design, while nurturing our visual brand. Coaching a team of creators, thinkers and doers, the right candidate will bring a mix of creative expertise and business understanding. Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers in the strategic development of deliverables.
Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating across the department, including but not limited to social, digital, content, events, research, sales enablement and proposals.
Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner.
Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables effectively address marketing goals and challenges.
Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences.
Pitch/present or oversee presentation of final concepts to executives/leaders/SMEs and obtain buy-ins/approvals for deliverables.
Spearhead and manage design and interactive strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing brand strategy, digital, compelling content and technology.
Collaborate with the marketing, sales enablement and sales in developing marketing plans, analyzing results and identifying opportunities.
Design marketing campaigns that translate business objectives into clear and motivating creative strategies.
Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer need and the competitive landscape.
Coach, mentor, encourage and performance manage team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
Be detail-oriented in all steps of the process and take initiative in suggesting how/when to make improvements to general processes that better the team.
Display a good level of general skills: writing skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, creativity, adaptability, initiative and problem-solving.
Stay up to date on current industry trends. Proactively research industry trends and competitive landscapes to learn new tools, new skills and new aspects of marketing and design.
Supervisory or Management Responsibilities:

Qualifications
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
8+ years of related experience, including creative direction in an agency or corporate setting, with proven experience with creating marketing/advertising campaigns, from developing vision to overseeing creative development through production on time and on budget.
S. or B.A. in design, marketing or relevant field
Understanding of and experience with establishing a brand identity, the fundamentals of advertising and developing integrated creative across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media and mobile; understanding of offline and print
Proven experience with concept development, pitching, design and production
High skill with leading a team of creative talent, including a minimum of 5+ years of people management experience.
Strong creative vision with project management experience, with the ability to effectively partner with all members of the marketing and sales departments to achieve desired outcomes.
A creative yet practical mind; ability to turn an idea/concept into practical application.
Proficiency in the use and leverage of the entire Adobe Creative suite and InDesign and understanding of UX/UI and CMS platforms
