Job Abstract

Responsibilities

• As a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor, this position will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers (HVAC contractors, Dealers, internal associates, etc.)
• Supervise and assign tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business need and customer priority
• Supervises the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition and storage of materials, supplies and equipment into and from warehouse
• Coordinates product flow within current location and the region
• Improves workflow processes to increase productivity, ensures?work force safety?and manages warehouse inventory?
• Supervise/coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, picking and staging of OB shipments
• Verify IB/OB paperwork with drivers
• Ensure IB/OB shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Maintain discipline in use of forklifts (maintenance, speed control etc.) along with safety of all equipment
• Maintain safety focused environment and encourage “zero recordable incident/time loss”
• Provide mentorship and talent development for Warehouse Associates

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required. College degree is preferred
• Experienced forklift operator/warehouse shipping and professional, with at least 2-3 years supervisory experience

• ?Successful candidate will be proficient in basic PC skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• ?Able to operate RF Scanning equipment as well as function in a Bin pick environment?

• ?Strong creative problem solving and analytical skills

• ?Excellent judgment and initiative and ability to work as hands on supervisor

• ?Excellent relationship building skills must be a team builder as well as a team player

• ?Must work well under pressure as a self-starter with the ability to multitask.
