Job Abstract

The documentation engineering team is responsible for creating world-class developer tools and framework-level support for the documentation workflows in Xcode, Swift Playgrounds, and Apple’s developer website. We are looking for a senior software engineer with experience implementing and working with complex infrastructure, and a sensibility for software quality to help us build the next generation of tools supporting Apple’s Developer Publications ecosystem. In this role you will work with software engineers, program managers and designers, to build automation and infrastructure for testing various features. Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and SQA methodologies.Track record of delivering comprehensive SQA automated solution for complex software applications.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, understand needs, and define test strategies.Excellent communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.Experience developing with a scripting language (e.g., Shell, Python, Ruby)Experience with container application tools and environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledgable with monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Mosaic, Grafana).
