About This Role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills for an Adult Drug Recovery Court Caseworker, Prince William County Criminal Justice Services is an Evidence Based Practices Agency. It is a fast paced, growing, family style organization that promotes public safety. We strive to reduce victimization, promote recovery and sobriety, break the cycle of crime, and contribute to community restoration by incorporating the use of Evidence Based Practices to assist those under our supervision make positive changes in their lives. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 years of related case management experience.
Preferences: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Criminology, Psychology, Social Services, Counseling or a related field 3 years of experience related to case management with individuals who are high risk or have high needs Experience in the coordination of services for clients in the community Case management Experience conducting risk assessments and making referrals upon identified gaps in services or needs Experience working 1:1 and a team in the creation of integrated case plans to include follow up Customer service Group facilitation Experience making presentations Experience working with individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally Special Requirements: Some overnight travel. Work Schedule: MONDAY – FRIDAY, 8 A.M. TO 5 P.M. with occasional nights/weekends for program presentations and meetings. Occasional overnight travel required. Starting Salary Range: $28.32-$40.69
