Build the future with us! We are looking for a diverse and dynamic team member who is passionate about Employee Benefits, Total Rewards & Recognition, Analytics, and Project Management.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent & Culture, you will be a pivotal member of our Talent & HR team and you will lead employee benefits programs, drive rewards & recognition initiatives, and support HR analytics, and other HR initiatives and projects.
What You Bring:
- 2-3 years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
- CHRP/CHRL designation is an advantage.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Group Benefit Products and regulatory requirements.
- Diligent, motivated, and resourceful.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish trust.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Federal and Provincial compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across business units.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
What You’ll Do:
Employee Benefits Administration:
- Manage benefits plans, and other related activities & initiatives.
- Oversee open enrollment processes and respond to benefits-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Coordinate benefit enrollment communications and maintain the enrollment tool.
- Assist Finance with monthly benefit reconciliation and validate HRIS files.
- Administer respective payments.
- Support annual total rewards benchmarking and revision.
Employee Guidance and Support:
- Provide guidance on benefit enrollment, eligibility, and related matters.
- Assist employees with inquiries regarding their rewards package.
- Communicate changes in benefits to employees.
- Organize and deliver awareness sessions total reward programs for employees.
Recognition programs:
- Lead the comprehensive design and implementation of diverse recognition programs.
- Collaborate with different departments and functions to foster the culture of recognition.
- Align recognition programs with building desired behaviors and fostering a continuous improvement mindset across the organization.
- Deliver pre- and post- surveys to identify the areas for further improvement.
Other initiatives & duties:
- Organize & facilitate the following employee events: Employee service awards, Retirement, and other projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Workday SME (Subject Matter Expert)
- HR Analytics & Reporting
- HR Budgeting
- HR processes and system automation.
