Location/Division Specific Information
Our Instrument and Enterprise Services team delivers a single source for integrated laboratory instrument service, support and supply management. Through our premier brand, Unity Lab Services, our team offers customized service solutions and world-class experts to uniquely address business needs.
This position is remote.
A Day in the Life:
- Acts as a point of contact between business users and IT groups to provide updates on data onboarding status, estimates, and strategic direction.
- Identifies data that needs to be organized and coordinates compliant data collection for data onboarding.
- Takes ownership of onboarding data into the data analytics platform through system-to-system mapping.
- Identifies and resolves data-related problems, including gaps, inconsistencies, mapping errors, logic errors, and transfer errors.
- Establishes partnerships with key collaborators and provides frontline support for business requests from various teams, divisions, and groups.
- Collaborates with Data Analysts, Engineers, Architects, and other data delivery teams to estimate effort, create timelines, and allocate resources.
- Develops documentation, training materials, and data standards to ensure high-quality data provisioning to downstream systems and solutions.
- Conducts data testing, validation, and audits across different environments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- More than 5+ years' experience in a data management or analytics role with a solid grasp of business and operational process requirements
- Supply chain domain expertise or CPIM designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, and others) with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Functions, formulas, charts, tables, and power query)
- Experience in SQL, AWS, and/or Cognos is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Possess high levels of data accuracy and attention to detail working with multiple data sources and environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise business communication.
- Ability to work independently, typically initiating tasks with minimal input.
- Ability to succeed in a matrix and multi-functional environment.
- Possess general understanding of project management and ticket handling.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$125,000.00.
