We are looking for talented hard-working individuals to join our growing teamyour professional home awaits you at Wayfair!Hourly Pay: $21.04/hrShift: Wednesday-Saturday 6:00am-4:30pmBenefits (Start Day 1!):- Referral bonuses- Overtime hours & pay- 401(k) with company match- Wayfair company discount- Benefits start day one- Growth opportunities (Conversions, Promotions, and more!)- Dozens of discounts and perks with partners!What You'll Do:- Maintain and operate battery changing station including removal and replacement of lift batteries (at applicable sites)- Operates floor sweeper / scrubber to maintain facility floor- General building maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and painting- Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA and Wayfair safety policies and procedures- Conduct daily/weekly preventative maintenance and completes daily log sheet- Perform pre-operation checklist and verify all safety devices are functional at all times- Maintain a clean and safe work area- Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents- Perform other job-related duties as directed by Manager/Supervisor- Maintain a good attendance recordWhat You'll Need:- High School Diploma or Equivalent is a plus- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic carpentry and maintenance experience including carpentry, painting, plumbing- Experience safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and aerial lifts- Proficient using hand and power tools and computers to perform required duties- Previous battery charger/changer experience is a plus- Must be flexible on working hours and willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime- Ability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, crawl and reach, engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists and stand and walk for long periods- Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted- Ability to access all areas of the building by climbing ladders and gangways safely and without limitation- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment that can be noisy and unlit- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines- Ability to work independently, as part of a team and take direction- Must be a safety conscious, motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with a positive attitudeAssistance for Individuals with Disabilities:Wayfair is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
