The primary goal of the Commercial Contracts Manager is to ensure that the commercial contracts of MISTRAS are carefully drafted and reviewed thoroughly, both before signing and on a regular basis. Managing the various stages that make up the contract management process, through the contract lifecycle, is imperative since commercial contracts lay the foundation for the successful operation of the MISTRAS business
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

- Organize the contracts and ensure single repository exists for all contracts and agreements across the MISTRAS organization and all relevant stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, Safety, etc.)
- Drive standardization of contracts as well as commercial terms and conditions of sale
- Leverage the full power of the MISTRAS contract management software functionalities to optimize contracts and harmonize terms and conditions of sale
- Ensure robust controls are in place for contract design and approval process flow, with timely roles assignment, routing, and controlled distribution
- Administer the MISTRAS contract management software system
- Create a single point of reference for all MISTRAS commercial contracts
- Catalogue, enter, track and maintain all contracts into the MISTRAS contract management software system
- Provide contract templates based on best practices and ensure easy access
- Ensure contracts database is easily searchable (e.g., for keywords, sections, terms and conditions of sale) and contracts details easy to obtain (e.g., by customer, lab, region, etc.)
- Optimize clauses and commercial terms in line with the value capture potential of each particular industry and customer segment
- Expedite exceptions management and ensure the approval process is thoroughly followed
- Create and report contract performance metrics in support for decision making
- Generate timely and actionable notifications (e.g., contract expirations, price increases, etc.)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required. Business Degree is preferred
- Requires 5+ or more years of experience in commercial contracts or a contracts management role
- Working knowledge of commercial terms & conditions of sale
- Knowledge of IFS ERP System and Oil and Gas industry is desirable
- Understanding of the asset protection solution industry with emphasis on NDT/NDE solutions is desirable
PHYSICAL DEMAND & KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Occasional domestic travel (up to 15%) may be required
- Keying/typing, sitting, standing, walking
- Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness and high attention to detail
- Possesses a combination of good process, conceptual, business analysis and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure well, and understanding the importance of meeting deadlines while maintaining personal accountability
- Must be flexible, personable, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Will work in Corporate Office setting in Princeton Junction, New Jersey
