SALARY RANGE: $83,165.00 - $132,947.00 Annually

ELIGIBILITY: Qualified candidates will be considered for vacancies as they arise, for a period of at least six months. The decision of the Director of Human Resources with respect to acceptable minimum qualifications is final.

SELECTION PROCESS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must:
EDUCATION: Have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in public health, gerontology, or a related field.
AND
EXPERIENCE: Have two years of experience in coordinating and administering a geriatric health program.
OR
NOTES (EQUIVALENCIES): Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of aging and health service administration and management.
- Knowledge of the health service problems of the aging.
- Knowledge of the preparation of program budgets and grant applications.
- Ability to organize and direct health and social service aging programs.
- Ability to deal effectively with medical and health professionals and private and public groups, agencies, and institutions.
- Supervisory ability.
