Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for revenue generation through the development and management of a direct sales organization.
Your Focus:
Develop and grow MicroStrategy’s presence in the U.S. defense and intelligence sectors.
Manage the P&L for the defense and intelligence business unit.
Lead business development efforts to identify and pursue growth opportunities to build and maintain pipeline.
Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and strategies to grow existing accounts and develop prospect accounts.
Manage 3-5 sales professionals and lead teams across the matrix of MSTR account executives, sales engineers, and consultants to develop accounts and advanced opportunities.
Work across MSTR, such as with technology, IT security, and customer support, to ensure defense and intelligence customer requirements are considered and advanced.
Oversee MSTR’s FCL program.
Leverage and enhance partner relationships to drive additional value and revenue.
Qualifications
Who you are:
Spirited entrepreneur. Self-sufficient, creative, and unflappable.
Appreciation and understanding of pipeline development and management.
Growth focused, proven technology sales account executive with a minimum of seven years of experience.
Exceptional leader with a focus on collaboration and team building, prefer candidate with at least three years of management experience.
Understanding of P&L management.
Proven ability to develop territory and account plans and attendant marketing and sales campaigns.
Extensive go-to-market experience with cloud hyperscalers and federal system integrators.
Fluent in FCL management and processes.
Experience with SaaS/PaaS and FedRAMP go-to-market strategies and execution.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
Experience and training in a value-based enterprise sales methodology.
