Health IT Program Lead
Key Role:
Serve as program lead for Health IT solutions to advance life sciences research, public health, and care, including informatics, clinical informatics, and public health informatics, for Federal Health clients. Lead programs and teams focused on clinical information, regulatory compliance, and quality management solutions, apply innovative solutions to address business needs from research communities, assemble teams who effectively align IT and life sciences requirements, drive software modernization, address client challenges, and develop talent. Manage contract support operations involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that involve schedule, technology, methodology, tools, and financial management of the project. Assume responsibility for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight. Meet regularly with government program manager to discuss performance, propose initiatives, and establish priorities. Assume responsibility for leading and supporting capture, proposal, and business development activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience managing Health IT software delivery programs or projects, including for U.S. Federal Health and research-based clients
- Experience with clinical research or trial management, life sciences, computer systems validation, health informatics, regulatory, or bioinformatics concepts, processes, systems, standards, and solutions
- Experience developing and maintaining tools and technology in clinical research operations, life sciences, and data standards
- Experience in shaping and capturing business development opportunities and leading and supporting proposal efforts, including capture lead, solutions lead, teaming, and pricing
- Ability to work with client organizations to translate business needs into a technology or management strategy and solution, making use of industry-standard and available platforms and technologies within the client organization
- Ability to manage multiple project tracks, adjust quickly to shifting priorities, solve problems, and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Life Science, Engineering, or Computer Science
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale health data sharing solutions
- Experience with HHS Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) compliance and Agile software development
- Possession of excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and senior government clients
- Master's degree in Public Heath preferred; Doctorate degree in a biomedical or life science field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
