As Human Resources Manager you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic support across the ANA Enterprise. You will serve as a strategic partner to the business, providing comprehensive HR support to all employees. Your professional HR skills will support the Enterprise in the following areas: Talent Management, Performance Management, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Employee engagement, and Strategic Human Resource Management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Talent Management:Support recruitment and onboarding processes for employees. Facilitate training and development programs to ensure compliance with CBA requirements. Assist in the identification and retention of high-potential employees Performance Management:Guides managers through performance appraisal processes. Develop performance improvement plans and support employee development. Advise management on disciplinary actions and terminations. Employee Relations:Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to both management and employees. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend corrective actions. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and proactive problem-solving. Labor Relations:Serve as a HR liaison between management and the union. Interpret and implement collective bargaining agreements (CB - As)Handle union grievances, arbitration cases, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with union representatives. Participate in negotiations during collective bargaining processes. Compensation: Support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs. Conduct job evaluations, salary surveys, and analyze compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable employee compensation. Coordinate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments according to organizational policies and legal requirements. Manage and update compensation plans during union negotiations and ensure they align with organizational budgets and goal Strategic HR Support:Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Support organizational change initiatives and drive employee engagement programs. Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve workforce productivity and morale. Compliance:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as CBA requirements. Maintain HR records and generate reports as required. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ANA - Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a unionized environment is a plus. Experience working with ADP WorkForce Now preferred. Solid understanding of labor laws and collective bargaining processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data. Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex situations. Certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP is highly desirable.
