IT Advisor, Technology Solution Delivery (Regulatory Compliance - Non-Financial Risk) Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1515545), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ.
Help financial institutions and fintech organizations to address non-financial risk and regulatory compliance issues in the Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management and Insurance sectors. Work on the latest technology to solve complex non-financial risk and regulatory compliance problems, including regulatory change management, enterprise compliance, pre-trade / post-trade controls, electronic trading, front line risk and controls, regulatory reporting, and holistic surveillance (i.e., trade, voice and e-comm surveillance). Liaise with key functions of our leading clients including business, front line risk, compliance, risk, technology and operations to provide strategic process or operating model enhancements, testing of key regulatory considerations, and identification and implementation of new technology solutions to deliver strategic enhancements of IT systems or operational processes supporting non-financial risk compliance.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management Technology, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in defining business and technical requirements and implementing relevant technical solutions. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management Technology, or a related field and 4 years of work experience in defining business and technical requirements and implementing relevant technical solutions.
Must have 4 years of experience working at a financial services or management consulting company working in one or a combination of any of the following areas: consumer compliance, regulatory change management, front-office trading, regulatory operations, regulatory reporting, compliance technology, middle office, and/or research.
Must have 4 years of experience with one or a combination of any of the following areas:
- Definition and design of business, functional and technical requirements;
- System selection and implementation support;
- Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
- Quality Assurance and testing (QA);
- Program/project management and implementation planning (PMO).
Must have 4 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
Must have 3 years of experience working in non-financial risk domains focusing on technology transformation (Op Risk, IT Risk, Compliance Risk, Internal Audit, and/or Enterprise Risk Management).
Must have 2 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the below frameworks and processes:
- Regulatory change management;
- Risk assessment & management;
- Compliance risk and controls;
- Regulatory reporting;
- Integrated Risk Management;
- Automated testing;
- Third party risk;
- Internal audit solutions;
- Automated workflow (Service Now, Pega, and/or Open Source solutions).
Must have 3 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the below:
- Experience with industry vendors in the compliance technology space (Fidessa, KX, Actimize, Behavox, Archer, ServiceNow, Open Pages, Metric Stream, Credit Bureau data providers, and/or Thompson Reuters).
- Experience with Data and Compliance Analytics tools (SQL, Spotfire, Tableau, and/or Qlikview).
- Experience with SAS, Python, Java, SQL, C++, and/or Hadoop.
Requires domestic travel up to 80%, to serve client needs.
