Position Area Duties (1-15 listed below) Lead the development, validation, and implementation of food safety fundamentals. Oversee the development, implementation, verification, validation, and maintenance of the SQF Codes, Understands the SQF Codes and the requirements to implement and maintain SQF System relevant to Del Real Foods scope of certification. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate activities related to the SQF program. Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the SQF System. Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF System. This position is responsible for managing suppliers' SQF programs. Schedule, coordinate and execute continuous SQF related training to personnel and keep training records readily availableSupport Production in the application of the SQF rules by the employees. Train and supervise management employees that have a role in the SQF Program to ensure their good understanding of the rules and development as a team of the best control measures possible. Ensure that SQF rules are respected rigorously. Develop, maintain, validate, and revise annually the SQF Program. Participate and take the lead in the company's internal audits. Requirements and skills Extensive knowledge of HACCP and GMP's required in a USDA Establishment.
