WANTED: A Sr. Research Analyst for Aerospace. This position requires someone with a PhD in Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subject, 10 years of experience and a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible). This position is in College Park, MD.

A week in the life of a Sr. Research Analyst for Aerospace:
Candidate will support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, specifically in the Maintaining Technology Advantage Branch.
Will maintain subject matter expertise in hypersonic and space technology, providing SME support to analysts in the development of critical time-sensitive products.
Will support development of strategic products, like technology area protection plans, for hypersonic and space technologies.
Will work with a team of other SMEs and analysts to meet short deadlines and deliver quality products.
Evaluate protection strategies to defend US investments from foreign attempts at technology transfer.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $185,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
