This position is responsible for movement of product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position starts at $21.00/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime.? We have an open position for second shift.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Roll Sausage and Sausage Links. 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for accurately putting away, putting down and replenishing product and/or accurately packing product, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Operate a Hi Rise reach truck and other material handling equipment.? 
• Lift cases of product and tack onto pallets.? 
• Put away pallets of production and inbound product.? 
• Load and unload blast freezer.? 
• Ensure accuracy of product locations and case counts. 

• Report damaged product to Inventory personnel or shift lead person or supervisor.? 
• Keep a clean and orderly zone throughout shift and leave the zone clean at the end of the shift. Responsible for picking orders.? 
• Maintain all goals and standards of productivity.? 
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.? 
• Management will appoint a trained designee to fill in for absentees and vacancies.? 

• ALL employees are responsible for upholding principles of SQF 2000. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be willing and able to operate a pallet jack and forklift and pass the pallet jack and forklift test.? 
• Basic math skills required. 

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Must have basic and working computer knowledge as well as RF experience. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.? 
• Must be able to maintain prompt and regular job attendance.? 
• Fork-lift experience preferred.? 

• Must be willing and able to work in below freezing temperatures for extended periods of time. 
• Must be willing and able to perform the assigned tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. 
• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. ? 
• Must be willing and able to lift 50lbs.? 

• Must have at least 3 months previous work experience in the last 18 monhts.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
