$79,823.42 - $99,688.51 Annually
$6,651.95 - $8,307.38 Monthly
$38.38 - $47.93 Hourly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED supplemented by specialized training in building and construction.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in inspection of industrial, commercial, residential construction.

THE POSITION
The Construction Inspector will serve as a key member of the Public Works department by providing inspections services to construction sites, streets, sidewalks, and all other City infrastructure which serves to foster positive community sentiment from residents by keeping Eastvale a beautiful and safe place to live, work, play, and connect.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Adding value to the community by ensuring the safety of all infrastructure through thorough inspections services.
- Assisting in the City’s inspection services for both Capital Improvement Projects and Land Development Projects in Eastvale.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The City of Eastvale is seeking an experienced and detail oriented professional that has a thorough understanding of building codes, site plans, construction methods, and safety regulations to contribute in the City’s Public Works inspection services and ensure the safety of City infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have the ability to thrive and achieve in a dynamic fast-paced team-centric environment where the opportunity to leave a strong legacy exists; and must demonstrate many of the following personal and professional attributes;
- A passionate individual who is dedicated to helping establish Downtown Eastvale through their efforts in the inspection of all the developments within the downtown construction site
- An experienced professional with the ability to perform highly detailed inspections to meet safety standards
- An expert of infrastructure maintenance that demonstrates selfness concern for all by identifying the potential hazards and dangers around City construction sites and streets
- A sincere commitment to public service and in creating culture, entertainment, and a sense of people and places for the City of Eastvale
