EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an RF Engineer in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define architecture of RF solutions in transceiver designs. Perform tests on transceivers, debug, make reports of test data.
- Simulate design circuits and perform circuit optimization including passive rework using RF equipment.
- Review and update technical documentation, transceiver designs, schematic capture, and layout for RF circuits.
Basic Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in RF and/or analog electronics OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in RF and/or analog electronics.
- Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: RF performance optimization; spectrum analyzer; vector network analyzer; signal generator; RF circuits qualification/debug; and generating technical documentation.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
