Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care is seeking anacademically oriented BC/BE Hematologist/Hematologic Oncologist for the ValleyCenter for Blood Disorders.

Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care providesunique clinical programs for our patients, as well as educational and researchopportunities for our staff. We have QOPI certification and accreditation fromthe Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
RESEARCH
An on-site team at Valley provides support for our activeresearch program, which includes investigator-initiated trials in addition toNCTN and industry-sponsored research. Protected time is provided for clinicaltrials, and intramural funding is available for investigators to developinnovative research programs. Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive CancerCare is the proud recent recipient of a grant to fund initiatives to increasepatients’ access to clinical trials and other opportunities for underrepresentedpatient groups.
FACULTY OPPORTUNITIES COMING
Beginning in July 2024, Valley’s accredited Internal MedicineResidency program will offer teaching opportunities, and a Hematology/Oncologyfellowship is being planned for 2026. Appointment to the faculty of theIcahn School of Medicine at a level commensurate with experience and academicpotential is anticipated.
SCOPE
Join a busy and collegial team of outstanding Hematologists,Oncologists, and Nurse Practitioners as part of our growing program forpatients with blood disorders or hematologic malignancies, the Valley Centerfor Blood Disorders. This also is an opportunity to share care with MountSinai Tisch Cancer Center specialists for patients who require cellulartherapy.

- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
- Board certified or eligible in Hematology. Certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology is highly desirable.
- Training or experience with Cellular therapy a plus

- Experienced clinicians as well as graduating fellows will be considered
- Meet all requirements to appointment to the Medical Staff of The Valley Hospital.
