Job Purpose:
Our Sales Representatives will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for selling Veritiv products and services within a designated region or industry. Sales Reps will focus on new business development, maintaining customer relationships, providing specific solutions, and meet Veritiv"s sales targets. This position requires a competitive and motivated spirit with the drive to solve problems.
Job Responsibilities:
\u25CF Sell and promote products and value-added services to meet or exceed individual and company goals in an established territory.
\u25CF Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage the potential customers in relevant sales campaigns to build new relationships.
\u25CF Identify opportunities and present solutions offered by the organization that meet the customer\u2019s needs
\u25CF Develop and provide custom presentations and business reviews on Veritiv solutions that could impact customer growth opportunities.
\u25CF Utilize CRM to schedule follow-up actions and record relevant information to build upon customer interactions.
\u25CF Create a personal network and represent the organization at business sector events to enhance the company brand.
\u25CF Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints and proactively strive for resolutions in a timely manner.
\u25CF Align with various sales representatives to expand segment and product knowledge base and collaborate on promoting solutions to customers.
\u25CF Actively leverage sales technology and tools to meet strategic account planning objectives and maximize customer and segment growth potential.
\u25CF Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales competencies and further expand ability to effectively generate profitable customer and segment growth.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
\u25CF Experience and knowledge in Packaging is preferred.
\u25CF Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
\u25CF Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills required.
\u25CF Ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.
\u25CF Ability to persuade, negotiate, and sell.
\u25CF Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members on best practices.
\u25CF 40% travel required may be requested to perform other duties as assigned.
\u25CF Territory sales or account management experience preferred.
\u25CF Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.
**Base Salary Ranges will be between $60K -$75K annually, with Uncapped commission.**
Work Experience:
\u25CF 5-10 years of related job experience.
Education:
\u25CF High School Diploma/GED
\u25CF Bachelor"s Degree Preferred
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
\u25CF A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.
\u25CF The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
\u25CF The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.
