Overview
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the restaurant. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate.
Developing cashiers and utility staff - includes training, interviewing for new hires and assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.

Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
Educational Requirements
Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in restaurant supervision.
Preferred, four (4)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work long hours.
Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.
Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
