EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Project Manager

in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise, in depth analytics and recommendations in support of LTE and VSAT transport layer (RF and networking) particularly in the context of internet application user experience in a hybrid transport technology. Perform root case analysis, troubleshooting and resolve customer issues pertaining to defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify and drive resolution to systemic problems.
• Act as technical interface between consumer business and internal software/hardware technical teams and external LTE bandwidth providers to incorporate business value into the systems.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in LTE wireless communications or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in LTE wireless communications.
• Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Big Query; SQL; Tableau; Python; business systems integration and networking; coding, scripting, modeling, and technical analysis; project management; and technical presentations.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
