A creative and organized marketer with a honed graphic sensibility, the Marketing Specialist is an essential part of Steinberg Hart’s marketing operations. This role requires working with cross-functional teams and engaging with leadership to pursue new work and achieve firmwide goals for design excellence. Self-motivated with an eye for details, the Marketing Specialist is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and highly collaborative environment. This position is responsible for the writing, layout, and production of proposals and other graphic products and services to showcase and enhance the Firm’s marketing standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Production of statements of qualifications, proposals, presentations and other pursuit collateral.
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Work to grow team relationships with the design and practice leadership.
Work together with marketing team members to create effective schedules for producing materials in a timely, resource-efficient manner.
Develop non-technical proposal sections and tailor project descriptions and resumes as needed.
Collect/draft technical proposal sections from past submissions to maintain working data base for use within current pursuits.
Use Deltek Vantagepoint to track pursuits, create project numbers and maintain project, and resume information.
Update appropriate areas of corporate databases and network folders with project resume or proposal text information after every submission.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Design, Journalism, English or related field
3-5 years’ marketing communications experience, strong preference for the A/E/C industry (position title commensurate with level of experience)
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft Suite required
Strong visual communication skills with an eye for detail and graphic design
Strong written communication skills with a demonstrated ability in technical writing.
Strong proofreading and editing skills using MLA and AP formats preferred
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, calendars, and tasks.
Willing to engage in limited travel within the United States.
