LYB is currently seeking a strategic and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager, Sales Incentive Compensation. This role will support our APS global sales organization through high impact leadership, operational execution, process innovation, and strong stakeholder management.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive sales incentive compensation programs drives sales performance and aligns with organizational goals.
Partner with Sales, Finance, and HR teams to understand business needs, provide thought leadership on sales incentive compensation matters, and ensure cohesive execution.
Develop clear and comprehensive communication strategies to educate the sales team on incentive plans, ensuring understanding and motivation.
Ensure all incentive programs comply with relevant regulations, laws, and company policies.
Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of existing incentive programs, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
Stay informed about industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices to ensure our sales incentive programs remain competitive and impactful.
Develop analytics and dashboarding capabilities to report on key metrics.
Conduct ongoing feedback on effectiveness of current sales compensation plans.
Collaborate with the sales leaders of each region and segment to define the SIP targets that should be set up annually by sales teams individuals.
Owner of calculation quarterly of the SIP bonus performance based on the actuals vs. the SIP KPI targets.
Min. Qualifications
4 year degree from an accredited institution. Advanced degree preferred.
5 years experience on sales incentive compensation plan administration and optimization.
Experience in a management role in Finance, Operations, Business Development, or other related fields.
Strong project management skills to move projects/tasks forward.
Proven experience with systems/tools utilized for sales operations processes such as Salesforce, Excel, Xactly, Tableau, SuccessFactors, GoogleSuite
