Job Abstract

Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation, is seeking a Scheduler for Plant A Maintenance. This position will be located at the Freeport, TX manufacturing site. In your role as a Scheduler, you will lead team players in the Global Maintenance Work Process, identify opportunities to improve the maintenance scheduling process, provide continuity with daily maintenance planning and scheduling, and optimize maintenance across the Site. Essential Functions

Provide assistance to the customer in understanding the scheduling process Generate daily maintenance work schedules Assume responsibility for daily maintenance scheduling process and the accuracy and implementation of the schedule Monitor and improve the process: Compile data for schedule compliance and "need date compliance". Work with the team to measure, post results, and fine tune the Maintenance Work Process. Monitor the key work process measurements and analyze data and achieve alignment Work with peers to provide continuous daily maintenance scheduling coverage Coach Field Planners in planning technique Function as a Work Activity Coordinator (WAC) for all central crafts Scheduler Position
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience; 1 year of scheduling experience in a process or chemical plant preferred Experience with daily maintenance job planning and execution. Knowledge of critical path methods calculations and scheduling algorithms preferred Maintenance/craft experience and Production experience preferred Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's License- Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship to applicants not authorized to work in the US.
