What is the Senior Analyst – Technology Enterprise Vendor Management responsible for?
Collaborate with Global Tech & Business teams to understand their requirements for service / product / platform needs
Pursue new opportunities through market analysis (wherever required)
Manage the Renewal Calendar for the different stakeholders in the FTT CIO Org
Help Drive Category Strategy, Contract & Commercial Negotiations
Establish & Drive Vendor Governance, performance management strategies for the Tech Category
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Analyst – Technology Enterprise Vendor Management?
Be part of the Global Team covering a multi-hundred million dollar Technology Spend Portfolio
Finalize deals (Manage the Full Cycle) including exploring the market, sourcing, negotiating the contract & commercials (redlines, pricing, positions and counter positions)
Conduct Spend & Contract analytics, help drive and shapeup a robust category strategy
Work to establish a strong vendor management strategy including Vendor Performance, Governance & Engagement Overview
Be constantly watching and reporting market movements (M&A, Major Announcements etc.) for key vendors
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 6+ years of experience (Additional Experience Welcome) in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / Vendor Management in the Technology Category (Financial Services Preferred; However, Experience in Other Industries is also welcome & appreciated)
Excellent contract management and negotiation skills with creative problem-solving approach
Reasonable Knowledge of Tech Category (preferably SW, HW, Infra, Cybersec & Services)
Familiarity with Spend Analytics
Experience in reviewing contract documents (redlines) with positions and counters
Experience in negotiations (online & direct) and commercial models
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Reasonable familiarity with using Data Visualization Tools (Power BI/Qlik/Tableau)
Reasonable familiarity with Coupa / Ariba or other S2P systems (running sourcing events, Contract workspace, Requests, Pipeline etc)
Intermediate / advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, Formulas, Queries, etc.)

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $96,000.00 - $130,000.00.
