Job Abstract

Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilizing of re-usable instruments and trays used hospital-wide. Pulls instruments and supplies for OR case carts. Demonstrates a clear understanding of decontamination procedures, aseptic techniques and sterilization methods.

Required Qualifications:

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) certificate upon hire.
• SPD experience.
• Experience in related field.
