Position: Production Planner
Type: Contract (6+ Months – Potential to be hired on based on performance and business needs)
Shift: Thursday (10PM-7AM), Friday (10PM-7AM), Saturday (On Call), Sunday (On Call), Monday (10PM-7AM), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (OFF) – this will be a full time 40 hour per week pay out
Location: REMOTE/HYBRID (Lodi, CA)
Hourly Pay Range: $34-$36

Kelly Engineering is actively seeking a Production Planner to join our client, a leader in the medical device industry.  The Production Planner is responsible for the production plan scheduling across multiple US sites in a high complexity environment.  Understanding and improving capacity planning, scheduling and production planning.  Participating in operational shop floor management while using enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, quality management and quality metric methodology, including continuous improvement strategies.  Ensure material availability for production lines and drive for improvement in production adherence as well as inventory management. 
 
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Grow within the GSC operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Specialist
  

• Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement
  

• Knowledge of inventory control
  

• Experience working with ERP and advanced planning tools
  

• Fluent with Excel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Data analytics, metrics, KPI’s, and dashboards
