Overview of the Manager, Video Content role
The Manager, Video Content role is a full-time (hybrid) position based in our San Francisco office. The person in this role will concept, direct, execute and support the development of compelling brand ideas and campaigns through video content. The ideal candidate is an expert in their craft, providing a fresh perspective in the direction of the video content.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Manage the seasonal execution of video end-to-end, including internal milestones and vendor milestones.
- Manage design and creative deliverables to schedule, including internal milestones and freelance and vendor milestones.
- Develop and evolve process as business and creative needs change.
- Performance manage a Media Producer and Content Coordinator, delivering continual coaching and feedback.
- Storyboard creative videos to support the seasonal video strategy.
- Oversite of the video team, while utilizing their own skills and creativity to help create engaging, trend forward content.
- Direct video editing to leverage video footage for use in organic social, paid social and site.
- Prioritize deliverables and manage multiple deadlines.
- Stay up to date on current video trends and technology while creating a brand standard for our videos.
- Continually drive and evolve brand standards for the design of video across all channels.
We’re excited about you because…
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Visual, Web or Graphic Design
- You have 6+ years of video production experience, preferably in retail brands or agency background.
- You have a demonstrated record of bringing new ideas to fruition.
- You are extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- A very strong knowledge of the social media platforms and video best practices.
- You have experience in managing projects multiple projects, editing, and retouching.
- You have outstanding communication skills.
- You pay meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines
- You have experience designing for integrated campaigns including organic social, paid social, and site.
- You are a communitive and collaborative team player.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Ability to perform work onsite in the (San Francisco, Rocklin, Portland, New York, San Jose) office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $115,000-$135,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
