Employee Benefits Assistant needed for growing Insurance Agency in Los Angeles! This position is a great opportunity for someone seeking a career within Employee Benefits. In this role, you will join the dedicated Account Manager to help service the clients and their employees day-to-day needs, including but not limited to:
New hire onboarding
Termination of benefits
Updating new benefits platform, Employee Navigator, to reflect accurate records
Assist Account Manager with upcoming renewals, including preparing presentation PowerPoints, and other documentation needed for these meetings
Be an advocate for clients with their claims and concerns, reaching out to the carrier to help resolve issues
Correspond with clients and their employees via email and telephone
Billing and claims assistance
Key Details
HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-5:00PM with 1-hour non-paid lunch break
WORKSITE: Due to client meetings, this is a full time in office role in Los Angeles
DURATION: Direct Hire
PAY: $60,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills & requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years of either individual or group benefit experience including Health, Vision, and Dental
3+ years of administrative experience within an office environment
Life & Health Licenses preferred – this client will help you obtain your licenses!
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Must be able to create spreadsheets in Excel and presentation media in PowerPoint
Experience with Ease or Employee Navigator is a plus!
