Required Skills And Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience as a Proposal Manager in Federal Contracts Proposal Development
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in Proposal Development/Management
o Must have supervisory experience in Proposal Development/Management
o Must have the ability to effectively supervise and direct/guide Senior Proposal Managers based on experience both as a supervisor and as a proposal expert
• 3+ years of experience submitting (sending/uploading/delivering) proposals
o Must have experience as the final preparer, reviewer and submitter for proposals, ENs and other post-submission/pre-award communication with Government Contracting Officers
o Must have experience managing Gold and White Team/Final Page Turn phases
• Must have a focus on developing and submitting superior quality, compelling and compliant proposals
• Must work well with others and work well as a team
• Must be flexible in adapting to Amyx’s processes, policies and professional culture
• Must have a professional, mature and respectful leadership style and set the example to the large groups of employees who contribute to proposal development
• Must possess the drive and skillset to comprehensively read, review and edit large proposals
• Ability to manage, guide and jump in as a Senior Proposal Manager for large and complex Full & Open proposals if needed
• Ability to multi-task – managing multiple active proposals at any given time
• Ability and willingness to review, write and edit proposals as needed
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize subordinate’s tasks to meet a demanding proposal development schedule
• Ability to successfully supervise and manage the Proposal Division’s workload in a dispersed telework environment
• Experience working with Adobe Pro DC, Microsoft Office and other tools
• Experience working with GSA Symphony, GSA eBuy and other systems used to submit proposals
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• APMP certified, minimum of Foundation-level certification
• 5+ years of experience managing proposals for large-scale Full & Open federal contracts ($100M+)
• English, Journalism, Business Writing, Science or Engineering major – experience with reading, analyzing and editing large proposals
• Training in Shipley Proposal Development
• Ability to effectively balance between being flexible and following a standardized process
