The Sonix team at Tektronix has been a consistent innovator in non-destructive testing - being the first company to bring PC-based, digital imaging solutions to our customers. We are seeking a multi-faceted Field Service Engineer to join our team as we continue to push the technology envelope and provide our customers with outstanding inspection technologies and engineering advancements!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, perform and present application analysis of customer products.
- Perform application studies and generate finding reports for customer submission.
- Develop testing procedures to optimally address and meet customer expectations of the testing.
- Travel across the US and internationally to support customers with equipment installations, trainings, and buyoff.
- Perform system and software capability demonstrations.
- Attend classes, events, and remain up to date with the latest technology and applications offered by Sonix.
Qualifications:
- Technology industry professional experience (1-3 years) or educated in a technical field such as Engineering, Physics or Applied Sciences.
- High level technical capacity.
- Proven effective written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize work, and to meet expectations.
- Knowledge of ultrasonic inspection and microelectronics is helpful.
- Open to travel within the United States with occasional international travel up to 40%
