POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for a variety of tasks relating to the timely execution of Non-PO and PO based invoice processing for multiple brands in the Shared Service Finance team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable Processor day to day tasks would fall under one of the below functions
General AP Processing
Data entry
Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions (PO and Non-PO) to ensure that organizational finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
Monitor AP Customer Service inbox to offer a high level of support to our vendors and business users.
Assist Vendor Admin with setup process by completing bank validation phone calls with new vendors and emails to new vendor as needed.
Assist AP Staff-Support with monitoring manual mail for scanning.
Respond to payment inquiries in a timely manner as outlined by AP Manager or AP Assistant Manager.
Handle the processing of time-sensitive invoices, i.e., Utilities for example, for approval and follow up with approvers as needed.
Reconcile/research AP vendor statements and provide detailed responses to our internal and external business users.
Assist as needed with projects as directed by the AP Manager or AP Assistant Manager.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSREQUIRED
Preferred 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounting function. (Within a corporate environment, a plus.)
Able to prioritize and manage high volume of work.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
Excellent communications skills- verbal and written.
Attention to detail is a must
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Self-Starter
Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
Additional Information
Hybrid 3x/week in office. Temporary position.
