About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in our aseptic food and beverage manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Senior Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process in Broth, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met while managing a team of three shift supervisors.
Lead and supervise a team of three shift supervisors, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the achievement of production targets and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coordinates and oversees all production activities including vacation scheduling and coverage, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to meet production targets and customer demands
Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain product integrity and safety.
Champion a culture of safety, promoting adherence to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to support the professional growth and development of team members.
Important Details:This is a full-time role, on-site in Cambridge, MD. The typical hours of this position will be Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, however, there is flexibility required to meet the needs of the business and to also provide off-shift support at times.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Strong understanding of aseptic food and beverage manufacturing processes, including packaging and sterilization techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Solid problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to addressing challenges.
Knowledge of operations and quality management systems, such SAP, GMP’s, SOP’s, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software applications.
