LACOE is seeking individuals with strong leadership and customer service skills to apply for the Custodial Shift Supervisor position.
The Custodial Shift Supervisor plans, coordinates, supervises, and directs the shift activities of custodial personnel. The current position vacancy is for the PM Shift (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.). Position is subject to occasional late night and weekend shifts.

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Experience: Two years of janitorial or custodial experience. One year of experience operating in any lead or supervisory capacity, which may or may not be concurrent with the required two years of janitorial or custodial experience.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites is required. Positions in this classification will be required to work day, night, late night, and weekend shifts and may be required to be on-call for emergencies.
Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
Selection ProcessCandidates who meet the minimum requirements above will be invited to participate in an examination that may consist of a written multiple-choice exam and a structured interview.
