Job Summary
The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until cancelled. There is currently ONE positions open in Maintenance & Operations. This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position.
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation, and alteration of electrical equipment and wiring systems. This may involve other skilled maintenance activities on occasion.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this classification would typically be acquired through any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of varied experience in the electrician trade at the journey level.
Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge of
Proper methods, materials, tools, testing, and monitoring devices used in the repair and maintenance of assigned trade.
Training and oversight of maintenance workers.

Electrical and electronics theory and practices.
