*Position:*	BUS AIDES 2024-2025 Transportation Department Job ID: 1933

*Job Goal(s):*	To assist in establishing and maintaining a calm, safe, and pleasant atmosphere on the bus/van.

*Employment* *Terms:*	Part-time (3.5 hours per day) without medical benefits Not associated with any collective bargaining association

*Reports To:*	Transportation Coordinator

*Performance Responsibilities:*	1. 2. 3. 4.	Supervise children on school bus/van in order to maintain positive student conduct, allowing for safe driving conditions. Assist children on and off school bus/van. Take student attendance on each trip. Accompany children to an assigned professional upon arrival at school and to the bus/van at time of dismissal.

*Salary:*	$20.15 per hour
