We are currently seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Intelligence Intern to join our team. This is an opportunity for those who are passionate about using data to solve business challenges and make a tangible impact on our operations.
During your internship, you will work closely with our experienced BI professionals and stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and deliver a comprehensive BI dashboard by the end of your internship. This dashboard will serve as a critical tool for decision-making processes throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for BI reporting and analytics.
- Assist in the design and development of BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools and technologies.
- Conduct data analysis to extract meaningful insights and identify trends that support business decisions.
- Work on a capstone project to deliver a BI dashboard that addresses a key business challenge, to be presented to the company at the end of the internship.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
- You are majoring in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Core understanding of statistics and its application in business analysis.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Reliably commute to the Sweetgreen Support Center in Los Angeles
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- A keen learner with a strong interest in business intelligence and data analytics.
