In conjunction with Supply Chain Planning Leadership, accountable for the development, management, and execution of the RAW, WIP and Finished Good (FG) inventory budget, monthly reporting, and associated inventory programs to drive year-over-year performance improvement for Specimen Management (SM). Serves as program manager and primary liaison to business Manufacturing Operations, Finance Operations, Business Groups and Regional Teams to ensure end-to-end alignment on inventory improvement initiatives and global goal attainment. This role will also manage WW Service Performance metrics aligned with ISC dashboards and drive preparation for the monthly performance meetings such as the SM ISC Performance bowling card and bi-weekly Service Metrics reviews.

Responsibilities
Lead annual inventory budget exercise and monthly projections with IDS Business Group resources to manage RAW, WIP and FG inventory at primary business production sites (4) and WW regions.
Lead WW monthly inventory performance reviews and drive associated follow-up actions with all regions.
Support Excess & Obselete (E&O) planning / reporting relative to global dashboards.
Perform supplemental inventory analytics and reporting to identify performance gaps and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize end-to-end inventory performance WW.
Facilitate business use and validation of the Inventory Health Dashboard and be superuser for the SM business.
Partner with SM business groups, manufacturing sites and regional supply chain leads to co-manage the integration of standardized BDX inventory best practices across the SM business.
Partner with SM Supply Chain to lead inventory health reviews and associated programs to drive improvement.
Timely publication of SM WW Service Performance metrics (ie WW Backorder, On-Time In Full (OTIF) metric, Forecast Accuracy, etc).
Facilitate the compilation and publishing of the monthly WW backorder projections for ISC / SM.
Facilitate the US-specific inventory projections / budgeting process in coordination with the global planning team.
Partner with metric design team ensuring SM interests are included.
Consolidate and roll-up metrics across plants and platforms.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7 years in a supply planning, production planning, material control and/or purchasing function
Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Business, or other relevant academic background
Strong WW Supply Chain Planning, Finance Operations and Manufacturing Operations experience required
Database and data transformation skills strongly desired (MS Power BI, MS Excel, Power Query)
Preferred experience in Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization and statistical analysis
Preferred experience using ERP, MRP and Advanced Planning Systems
Ability to influence, work effectively, and implement solutions in a cross-functional, global matrixed team environment.
APICS CPIM certification preferred.
