Role Overview
We are seeking a HR Business Partner to support our growing manufacturing site in Raritan, NJ. This position work closely with other HR Business Partners on site as well as Corporate HR team. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for shaping and executing on the people strategies to support the overall business objectives. This includes consultative and coaching to the leaders and their leadership teams, providing expertise in the development of the organizational talent strategy, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic HR coaching support to assigned business functions
Create and/or drive the talent strategy for the assigned business functions in partnership with respective COE teams
Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client groups. Contribute to organizational change management activities when necessary.
Coach business leaders to successfully manage all cycle people management process (talent management, performance management, succession planning etc.)
Partner with Talent Development team on learning strategies to support and enable talent strategy
Partner with Talent Acquisition on activities to support workforce planning and growth
Supports business leaders in developing strong development plans to grow and retain talents
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
As part of the corporation-wide HR leadership team, participate in discussion, evaluation and execution of corporation-wide HR initiatives
Other relevant duties assigned by management
Requirements
Bachelor degree required. Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of HR experience as HR Business Partner is required;
Experience in Pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required
Demonstrated HR functional competence in one or more HR disciplines
Demonstrated experience in organization development such organization design, change management,, workforce planning
Knowledge of employment legal practices and policies
Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, consult with and coach business leaders and managers
Demonstrated capability leveraging data analytics and HR system to provide relevant insights and consultation to the business leadership team
Ability to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and extended HR organization
Change Management experience
